Wild cream review

Wild Cream, Sensitive body butter with Aloe and Avocado.

Firstly, I do have to point out that I’m quite sceptical when it comes to creams designed for sensitive skin, especially eczema, as I’ve fallen into the ‘product junkie’ trap of buying tons and tons of creams, oils and supplements all claiming to ‘calm, soothe, reduce inflammation’ etc etc, you get the picture.
So when I was approached by Wild to trial a cream of my choice, I jumped at the chance, mostly as it was not coming out of my own pocket for a change! But mostly as the ingredients seemed in keeping with what I am for (as natural as possible, or natural ingredients listed first, plus no Parabens and SLS free)  Here are the ingredients for this cream: Aqua, Aloe Barbadensis, Butyrospermum Parkii, Persea Gratissima, Cocos Nucifera, Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Tocopheryl Acetate(Vit E), Phenoxyethanol, Caprlyl Glycol
Onto the cream, the cream itself is fragrance free and of a creamy, thick texture. Depending on the amount you use, it can take a while to sink into the skin.

I’ll break down how I used the cream and what marks I give it out of 10 for each of these things:

  • Itchy skin – When my skin itched, I applied quite a thick layer of cream onto my skin and gently rubbed it in. For the most part, this stopped the itching, no immediately, but soon after. 7/10
  • Dry, flaky skin – When my skin was very dry, usually first thing in my morning, I would apply the cream and it made my skin very moisturised. 8/10
  • Broken, damaged, raw skin caused by scratching at night – When I applied the scream to my broken skin, I was very cautious as many creams have been known to cause a very bad sting. Fortunately, this cream did not do that. It soothed my skin and I noticed my skin trying to repair itself hours after applying this cream.  8/10

During this trial period, I occasionally used this cream alongside tea tree oil (I mixed the two together) but other than that, I used nothing else on a particular part of my skin, as shown in the pictures.
I would say this cream can last you quite a while as you don’t need much (This is an assumption as I was sent a trial size, not a regular size)

So in a Nutshell,Wild Sensitive Body butter with Aloe and Avocado gets the thumbs up from me and I would recommend it!
